We previously commented that you decide which data items you wish to store for each artist and you probably wondered how this could be achieved.

From this page you can:

• Make the input of a data item mandatory
• Change the display order of data items in an input form
• Change the text that is displayed next to a data item
• Change the display length of a data item

Make a data item active or inactive (so it does or does not appear on the form)

Note that this is a complex part of the system and there obviously is the potential to break the system. For this reason we suggest you phone support first for advice before making any changes here.

Also note that this functionality is not just limited to artists. This is just an example we could equally have used the 'Contact Us' form or 'New User' form.
