Creating & Updating Artists

Creating and updating artists in the system can be done using the form below. Please note you are not limited by the data items that are prompted in the below example. If you do not want the system to prompt you for example, the artist's email address then you can configure the system not to ask for it. Some data items though, such as the 'Stage Name', 'Artist Genre' and 'Artist Type' are obviously essential to the correct functioning of the system.

If you have a requirement to add additional data items this can also be done. The section on 'Database' explains how this can be carried out.

Note the system asks to select the 'Artist Type' and 'Artist Genre' from a drop down list. You decide these types and genres. You decide the depth of detail in subdividing genres.
